Running Out Of Energy?

If you want to read a great piece on the supposed energy crisis, read Bill Walker's article Energy: The Bottomless Well. He does a great job of showing how the energy "fearmongers" are worried over nothing. What is really lacking is not energy, but freedom. Energy is all around us and we already have the potential to harness far more than we could conceivably use. This is an extremely important issue because it is one that is being used to shape and drive all sorts of devious and counterproductive policies. As Walker says in his closing paragraph, "Free human beings will not run out of energy for billions of years, even if we never learn any more physics in all that time. Our only shortage is of freedom itself. And that is something to fear."
