I just had to link to this article by Fred Reed on LewRockwell.com. I thought the essay was hilarious but the implications of what actually happened are not. I'd also recommend reading the BBC article that he links to at the end of his essay. Homeschooling is looking more and more attractive every day. It's getting to the point where kids can't even get in a little fight now and then without being collared by the Nanny State.
